Herb Johnson

Herb "Johnny" Johnson (1905 - 1970) His dream was to share his love for animals with others. This dream was being carried on by his grandson and great-grandsons. Our goal was to create an unusual attraction that will be enjoyed by people of all ages.

What began in 1964 as Herb Johnson's dream to share a love of animals became the work of 45 years, 4 generations, many friends and neighbors, and a lot of animals enjoyed by wonderful visitors from around the world.

Johnny's has officially closed its doors for good.
